Pip's Story

Pip's Story

Pippa and her husband renovated a beautiful cottage in Kent and wanted some bespoke furniture to go with it so they picked up some fantastic bargains locally. Pippa stripped the furniture back to the original frames and upholstered using my traditional techniques from start to finish to create truly bespoke and unique furniture that will last a lifetime. She used a robust grey upholstery fabric for the larger items with the beautiful Sanderson Woodford Plaid (more expensive) as the feature fabric on smaller items, cushions and piping to tie everything in together. The same fabric combinations were then used for the curtains and blinds which just looked so elegant and stunning.

A comment from Pippa:

"I am so proud of the furniture in our house and love having something totally unique to us that no one else in the whole world will have. We receive so many compliments not just on how amazing the furniture around the house looks but also it is so comfortable. The images here are of the sitting room but I've since done bar stools in an oil cloth fabric (wipeable), bedroom chairs and dining room chairs"
